So for decades, VT couldn't get anyone to travel to Lane Stadium...


The one exception being LSU, and that was before LSU had reaffirmed its place as an elite program. And now all of the sudden, within a matter of 10-12 years, the entire B1G is lining up for home and homes with VT.

I feel it's pretty simple to figure out. VT likes playing them and they like playing VT. And I think that goes a long ways toward determining how VT might fit into their ATHLETICS league. Furthermore, VT is quite similar to B1G schools. The AAU thing is the only hold up, and I'm not so sure B1G membership wouldn't get VT over the hump in that regard.
